Japanese embroidery and mending class bundle - 4 classes and kits in one

£200.00

I discovered Japanese embroidery a few years ago on one of my trips to Japan and it’s become one of my favourite things to do during lockdown, creating beautiful, colourful traditional patterns and free stitching to mend my clothes, inspired by the vintage Boro fabrics I collect on my travels. And, in 2019, I discovered Kogin counted thread Sashiko, which is so much fun.

I’ve been teaching Japanese embroidery techniques for the last couple of years and I’m just enjoying it more and more and want to introduce you to everything too so here is my Japanese embroidery and mending bundle.

You get all four of my online Japanese sewing classes plus a pack with fabric, thread, needles, marker pen, patterns and patches, which I will send you by post on ordering.

Classes:

Moyozashi (Pattern) Sashiko
Hitomezashi (One stitch) Sashiko
Kogin counted thread Sashiko embroidery
Boro inspired mending

For full details of these classes visit my workshops page.

The four classes would normally cost £150 and the materials another £100, £250 in total but I’m offering this bundle for just £200, effectively giving you half the materials for free.

Pack includes:

2 white cotton tote bags to sew Moyozashi and Hitomezashi Sashiko patterns onto
6 coloured sashiko threads - navy, white or cream, light green and red, which you can use for the Sashiko and Boro classes (plus two bonus threads, colour selected at random)
2 Sashiko needles - 1 long and 1 short

1 soluble marker pen (may be air or water soluble and brand may differ from one shown)
