A zip pouch is a super useful thing… It can hold your make-up, coloured pencils, a crafting kit, love letters, emergency gum, a favourite piece of jewellery and much more.

These will fit in your handbag or suitcase if you are going away and they are a lovely present to give to a loved one.

I love the Japanese Sevenberry cotton fabric brand. They make traditional and very Japanese fabrics and the quality of the material is excellent.

I’ve had these beautiful double-faced cottons for a while and wanted to make something special with them this year so I’ve made these sweet little zippered pouches. They’d make a great Christmas stocking filler present!

There are three fabrics but, as each is double-sided, I’ve been able to make six different designs.

Each pouch is lined with the fabric on it’s reverse:

Aso na ha (hemp leaf) in black has Red with white flowers inside
Gold with white flowers has Aso na ha (hemp leaf) in green inside
Dragonflies on a grey/blue background has Red dot waves inside
Red dot waves has Dragonflies on a grey/blue background inside
Aso na ha (hemp leaf) in green has Gold with white flowers inside
Red with white flowers has Aso na ha (hemp leaf) in black inside

I’ve also given each bag a different coloured zip!
